My name is Dee Weston, and I am delighted to be Chair for the Thames Valley Branch.
Thames Valley Branch is really fortunate to have a strong contingent of Committee members, who collectively organise and promote events and meetings. The Branch meetings present an opportunity to catch up, plan events that are informative, broad range of subject matters and social. We try to cover topics that will be interesting to all, for current members, and young professional just starting their career. Branch events create an opportunity to increase your own personal network of contacts
The Branch believes in the promotion of credit as a profession. Committee members attend open days at schools and colleges, to promote the CICM and credit as a career. Our attendance at the open days is very well received, and this has been a staple of the TVB branch now for a number of years.

Ruth Howard MCICM
I have over 25 years of experience in the world of credit and debt recovery in a variety of different industries ranging from an auction house, costumiers, factoring & invoice discounting to telecommunications. I received my CICM Level 3 qualification in 2014.
I have been a member of the Thames Valley Branch committee for nearly 10 years and took on the role of Secretary in 2023.
Although I fell into credit by accident, I am passionate about what I do and promoting it as a career choice. You will regularly find me attending careers fairs at local schools as well as helping with mock job interviews and talking to A level students about career opportunities.
I enjoy the regular collaboration with my fellow Committee members in making sure our Branch remains highly active, hosting a wide range of formal and social events every year. We love welcoming new faces, we are open to your feedback and always strive to make our events meaningful, relevant and fun.

Peter Courtnage MCICM
Head of Credit Management for Tuskerdirect Ltd the vehicle leasing company specialising in salary sacrifice schemes which became part of Lloyds Banking Group in February 2023. I have held this position since June 2022 when I joined Tusker to set-up their credit management function. Prior to this I was Head of Credit Management at Alphabet (GB), part of BMW Group Financial Services a role I held for over 9 years. Before these roles in credit, I worked for Barclays for over 20 years in a variety of roles predominantly in corporate banking.
