Hilti achieves first-time CICMQ accreditation
Manufacturer and supplier of specialised tools and fastening systems, Hilti, has achieved CICMQ accreditation for the first time. It flew through the process in a matter of three months, which was picked up on by the Assessor’s report as being a rarity.
The team is ten strong and the accreditation process was led by Fayaz Bharucha, GB Finance Business Partner with strong participation from Lydia Catterall, GB Credit and Collections Manager. It manages upwards of 20,000 customers and a £110 million turnover. “I think that a key area for us now we have the accreditation is to continue our drive for professional growth, taking more team members through CICM qualifications,” he says. “This will enable a natural enhancement and continuous improvement, ensuring we have a mindset that is aligned directly to credit management.”
In terms of the expectations for the team, the Assessor’s report was very clear; application for the CICM’s highest accolade, Centre of Excellence, following two successful CICMQ periods.
