Marshalls Mono joins the ranks of four-time CICMQ accredited businesses

The prestigious ranks of the four-time CICMQ accredited businesses has been extended to include Marshalls Mono, the UK’s leading manufacturer of innovative hard landscaping products. The company was praised in the CICMQ assessment report as having, a ‘resilient’ focused and motivated team.’ Led by Andrew Woodhead, Group Credit Manager, Marshalls Mono credit team has come a long way since it started its journey back in 2011:

“The challenges are very different, mainly due to the impact of the recession,” he says. “Previously the construction sector was driven by credit, but now the demand for growth is such that sales rule the roost. On top of this, risks have to be taken, whether we like it or not.” The accreditation is a reflection of all the hard work and dedication the team has given through the challenging times they have faced: “We have improved our processes and re-trained the team which has kept us moving forward where our workforce has been reduced.”

Andrew advises those starting or taking a team through the CICMQ process to give it a go: “What do you have to lose? At the very worst, if you are not immediately successful, you will find out about the areas that you need to improve. “I am extremely proud of being accredited for a fourth time, but I firmly believe that no matter how good you are there is always room for improvement, as it is important to always improve and change”.
