The Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM) is the largest recognised professional body in the world for the credit management community. Formed over 80 years ago, the Institute was granted its Royal Charter in 2014. The trusted leader in expertise for all credit and collections matters, it represents the profession across trade, consumer and international credit, and all credit-related services.It offers a comprehensive range of services, education and support for the credit professional and is the only such organisation accredited by Ofqual. Services and advice for the wider business community include the acclaimed CICM/BIS Managing Cashflow Guides, and managing the Prompt Payment Code for BIS.
