Apprenticeships in Credit Control & Collections

There are five apprenticeships for those working in the credit profession.

At each Level of apprenticeship you will be able to gain professional CICM qualifications. Alternative qualifications are available.

   Apprenticeship  CICM Qualification gained    End Point Assessment
Level 2    
Credit Controller/Collector Entry Level award Certificate in Credit & Collections or Level 2 Certificate in Credit Management*
Level 3    
Advanced Credit Controller and Debt Collection Specialist Apprenticeship

All new apprentices who chose CICM qualifications as part of their learning journey will start on the new CICM Level 3 Diploma in Credit and Collections, and any existing apprentices, who are part way through CICM studies, can either continue on their qualification listed below

Intermediate Diploma in Credit Management or Intermediate Diploma in Debt Collection or Diploma for the Debt Collection Industry or switch to the new CICM Diploma in Credit and Collections above if their choice of units allows.

All apprentices who continue on the CICM Diploma in Credit Management or CICM Diploma in Debt Collection must pass this by 31 December 2022, after which point the qualifications are to be withdrawn by CICM.

Senior Compliance/Risk Specialist Apprenticeship Advanced awards & Diploma in Credit & Collections Management
