CICMQ ‘Best Practice’ Quality Accreditation – what is it?
CICMQ is the Credit Management industry’s ‘Best Practice’ Accreditation from the Chartered Institute of Credit Management, formal recognition of your organisation’s commitment to quality, continuous improvement and best practice in all things credit.
To gain the accreditation you must successfully complete an assessment process and the CICMQ Assessment Team of experienced credit professionals will assist you all the way whether it is the Standard Assessment Approach or the CICMQ Workshop Approach. As part of the process you will gain access to the CICM Best Practice Network of accredited organisations who will share their best practice with you.
CICMQ is applicable to all sizes of business and across all industries and as our list of accredited companies shows.
Assessments are carried out by our highly qualified and experienced CICMQ Assessors who will guide and support you and your team. In many cases other CICMQ accredited organisations will also assist you sharing their knowledge and best practice through the CICM Best Practice Network.
The CICMQ accreditation covers 6 Specific Areas:
- Credit Policy
- Customer Services
- Personal & Professional Development
- Performance Measurement
- Stakeholder Management & Roadmap
Companies have to demonstrate they meet a minimum standard of ‘Good/Best Practice’ in Credit Management, If successful a company is awarded CICMQ Accreditation and retains the award for 3 years when it has to be renewed. There is a mid-term review and report 18 months post accreditation.
