Press Release: Equinix secures CICMQ re-accreditation
Equinix, an American multinational leader in digital infrastructure and global colocation data centre market share, has achieved CICMQ re-accreditation, a formal recognition of commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and best practice in all things credit.
Nick Williams, Senior Manager of Billing, Credit & Collections Operations at Equinix, says the re-accreditation gives them the opportunity to stay at the forefront of the credit industry: “It is a sense of personal accomplishment for everyone involved, as it is an accreditation shared by all at the company,” he says.
“I don’t think there is anything we could do differently, but we look forward to getting back to normal in 2022 after being remote due to COVID. We strive to continue to take note of areas to improve in our ways of working and processes and to maintain our best practice.”
Chris Sanders, CICMQ Assessor, wrote in his report: ‘There is a high level of respect for the Credit & Collections team within Equinix from Stakeholders; the re-accreditation will reinforce this profile, bringing recognition and even greater motivation.
‘The high-performing team has extreme determination, and they provide an excellent service despite working from home during the pandemic. They continue to deliver incredible results for the organisation through open communication and a shared sense of direction.”
Equinix has a huge active global ecosystem of more than 10,000 companies, including 1,800+ networks and 3,000+ cloud and IT service providers in more than 27 countries spanning five continents. They have a turnover of $6bn+.
