Royal Mail gets CICMQ stamp of approval
“The support of our team members was overwhelming; they wanted to succeed as much as anyone. So, the biggest lesson learned was the value of our people,” Glenys Hayward, Head of Group Receivables said when reacting to CICMQ re-accreditation.
Royal Mail is the UK’s designated Universal Postal Service Provider supporting customers, businesses and communities around the country. It prides itself on being the only company delivering a ‘one-price-goes-anywhere’, six days a week service to more than 29 million addresses across the UK. General Logistics Systems (GLS), its European parcels business, operates one of the largest parcel delivery networks in Europe.
Glenys Hayward, Head of Group Receivables, Royal Mail, says they were fortunate that their Finance Director recognises the value of the accreditation, and the return on investment in training, so there were few central challenges.
