Special Consideration at the time of marking

If you have a temporary illness, injury or indisposition at the time of the assessment you may apply to have your paper marked with special consideration.  You should apply for this in writing with the necessary supporting information as soon as possible after the examination and not later than seven days after the examination week.  Full details of the cases that might be given special consideration are included in the booklet – Arrangements for candidates with particular examination requirements.  Advice and this booklet are available from the Awarding Body Administrator.  This procedure is carefully overseen by the Institute’s Assessment Board.
