Advancing the credit profession

Taking positive action to support our credit community

Extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures, and as credit professionals we are all very much in the frontline. So I want to tell you about some of the positive, practical steps we’re taking right now to support our members and our community:

  • Membership Subscription Support – If you are struggling to pay for your membership, let us know immediately. Email us at cicmmembership@cicm.com and we will get back to you. The CICM teams are busy supporting our members with extra resources at this time and might take a little longer than the usual 24 hours to get back to you.
    .
  • Managing Credit in a Crisis – We’ve launched a series of initiatives to help you manage credit in these challenging times, with a practical online guide and dedicated LinkedIn group to share best practice and ideas. We will also shortly be announcing a programme of Managing Credit in a Crisis webinars with interactive training to help you with the here and now, as well as strategies for managing credit and debt in the future.
    .
  • Member Advice Service – We are expanding our current service to help answer your technical and legal questions. You can put your questions to a panel of experts drawn from our existing team and Corporate Partners, to broaden the scope of professional advice available.

Your CICM is special. It has a great many qualities and we, as members, need to pull together to ensure it remains so through this challenging period. Our plans are constantly evolving, and the support we have received from members and our partners willing to share their time and expertise to help others reflects the quality of our profession and our reason for belonging.

We will keep you updated with further news through a dedicated newsletter, and in the meantime if you have any questions, we’re here to help.
