CICM was granted with a Royal Charter from the Queen which took effect on 1 January 2015. The grant of new charters is rare, typically reserved for distinguished professional organisations or reputable charitable institutions with a proven history of success and financial stability. In the context of professional organisations, these charters are granted when they fulfil a unique role in a specific field of activity that is not already represented by existing professional bodies. Therefore, gaining such an honourable accolade holds immense significance for us and the entire Credit Industry. The perpetual acknowledgment we receive as the official professional body for Credit Management is truly invaluable to our CICM Members.
Meet the team from our Headquarters in Peterborough and don't forget the powerful communities that make our incredible branches, who are just as much as important in the fulfilment of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management's mission.

Post University, in summary my career started in retail banking with Northern Rock plc, experiencing first-hand the credit crunch of 2008, I subsequently moved into the credit services sector, joining a trade body representing debt collection, where my passion for learning was cultivated. From then on, I have been associated with the credit industry until today.
I am a surf loving Cornishman who finds himself living in West Yorkshire, enjoying the beautiful Heathcliff countryside, yet missing the Polzeath beach sand on my feet!
I’m a keen Cricketer, having represented senior teams across Cornwall, Devon, Yorkshire & Northumberland, as well as a lifelong Plymouth Argyle F.C. supporter and subsequent ‘Ginsters Pasty fan’.
I am delighted to be joining the team and helping heighten professionalism across all domestic and international credit markets.
