Online Part Time Teachers/Learning Support Coaches in Business, Finance and Credit subjects

Part Time Teacher (Subject Expert):
  • Develop and deliver engaging and informative online courses in your area of expertise. We have lots already in place that you can expertly tailor.
  • Create well-structured lesson plans, learning materials, and informal assessments.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students, mark homework, maintain course management logs.
  • Participate in Best Practice meetings and events as part of the teaching team. Complete mandatory compliance training
  Part Time Learning Support Coach:
  • Assist learners in their learning journey by offering personalised 121 support and guidance.
  • Be available for 2 hours per learner across their unit of study to clarify unit requirements, concepts, signpost to additional resources and answer questions.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide feedback for improvement, for example marking draft assignments.
  • Provide regular reports to CICM.
  • Complete mandatory compliance training
 
Qualifications and experience:
  • Proven expertise and experience delivering teaching and learning in the subject area.
  • Teacher qualified (minimum Level 3 Award in Education and Training/PTTLS)
  • Qualified in your subject area – this could be for example CICM, ACCA, CIMA, CIPD, CIPS OR degree or higher in a related field
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience of online teaching, training and learning platforms desirable.
  • A passion for education and a desire to impart your knowledge and help others succeed.
  • Experience of motivating and inspiring learners to achieve their academic goals.

Volunteer Membership Assessors

After recently updating the membership application criteria and process, the CICM has built a strong team of volunteer membership assessors. This vital role helps us to review CICM professional membership applications at ACICM, MCICM and FCICM level. With an increased number in applications, we are looking to extend the team.

Apprenticeship End Point Assessor

The Chartered Institute of Credit Management has a vacancy for an independent assessor to mark assignments and conduct professional discussions for apprentices at the end of their Level 2 Credit Controller/Collector and Level 3 Advanced Credit Controller/Debt Collection Specialist apprenticeships.

The role will include:

Assignment marking:

Assessors would mark assignments focusing on technical knowledge, skills and behavioural aspects of apprentices and confirming that the candidates have met the requirements of the Apprenticeship Standard. Training would be provided.

Professional discussion:

Assessors would conduct professional discussions with apprentices to ascertain how well apprentices are performing in their role and whether the apprentice has the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to meet the requirements of the apprenticeship Standard. The professional discussions will need to take place during the working day usually via Microsoft Teams so can be conducted from home as long as suitable equipment is available. Training would be provided.

Essential characteristics are:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in credit management or debt collection and a qualification in credit management or debt collection plus familiarity with the role covered by the apprenticeship and expertise in the specialist option being assessed
  • Credit management/debt collection technical and management expertise to ensure they can assess all areas of the Standard
  • Understanding of the qualifications used within the apprenticeship
  • Ability to demonstrate skills needed to be an assessor
  • No current relationship with the apprentice / employer involved in the assessment.

Business Law Exam Reviewer

Location: Remote – deliver from the comfort of your own home or face to face by agreement

Salary: Competitive daily rates of pay plus reasonable expenses

Hours: Part-time – 2 meetings per year, you don’t have to commit all year round. This role can be carried out whilst working full time, so great opportunity to do something different.

Contract type: Self-employed and we support you to get set up – it’s quick, simple and easy to do.

Start date: Immediate start and if you’re not ready yet, we’re also recruiting for later dates in the year.

You will be a qualified Credit Manager who will be able to assist with reviewing our Business Law online exams against current study material ensuring our students have learnt and met the required standards. The aim is to ensure that the quality, standards and levels remain as expected after exams have taken place. Training and support will be provided, and you will need to attend two review meetings a year either remotely or at CICM Headquarters. About the Role – annually you will:

· Review submitted online exam entries against study material.

· Support by creating test forms.

· Write and create test questions.

· Advise and update multiple choice questions for exams.

· Reviewing and checking how the test forms and questions have performed.

· Deal with queries and complaints.

· Review new test papers before use.

 

Qualifications and experience:

· Experienced Credit Manager with recent industry experience

· Applicants should possess well-regarded and relevant professional, preferably Level 3 and Level 5 Diplomas in Credit & Collections and/or equivalent academic qualifications.

Awarding Body Administrator

We are looking for a positive, proactive and organised administrator to join our Awarding Body team. The role holder will work as part of the team to provide administrative support to the business, and to help provide the most efficient and effective service to our candidates, members and customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To complete quarterly entry processes for Turnitin, invoicing, queries and entries on to Engage
  • Complete quarterly clerical checking and results processing onto Engage
  • Complete weekly result processing
  • Completion of databased marks from weekly and quarterly results
  • Posting of results, weekly and quarterly with all associated processes
  • Assist with documentation for Assessment Board and standardisation meetings
  • Maintain the archiving policy
  • Weekly PO number reconciliation for Training Providers
  • Assisting with exam queries regarding qualifications, booking and assessment
  • Providing voucher codes for exams
  • Assisting with the administration, review and development of exam questions (including practice exam questions)
  • Providing support with suspected malpractice, exemptions admin and reasonable adjustments
  • Holding conversations with candidates and their employers/training providers to support their progression and qualification achievement

Successful candidates will have these qualities:

  • Possession of relevant qualifications at Level 2 or above (inc Maths & English)
  • Experience of working within an office based customer service or business administration function
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and databases.

Advisory Council  – Consumer Credit Representative (Casual)

Are you a supporter and ambassador of the CICM who specialises in Consumer Credit? Do you collaborate well and think strategically? Do you like to share your knowledge, insight and experience and help further the credit profession?

If you have answered ‘yes’ to the above, have you considered sitting on the CICM Advisory Council? We are looking for an individual who can play an essential part of the CICM and help bring valuable expertise, knowledge, ideas, opinions and passion to support strategy and direction. This role will be on a casual basis until June 2026.
