Hello and welcome to the South Wales Branch of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM).

I’m Lucy Stagg, and I’m proud to serve as your Branch Chair. Having worked in credit management for over a decade, I’ve seen first-hand how vital our profession is to the success of businesses—both B2B and B2C. Yet, I’ve also noticed that in South Wales, opportunities for credit professionals to connect, share knowledge, and support one another have been limited.

That’s why I’ve taken on this role: to help foster a strong sense of community among credit managers in our region. Our branch is here to provide a space where you can network, learn, and grow—whether you’re new to the industry or a seasoned professional. Together, we can raise the profile of credit management and champion best practices that benefit businesses and individuals alike.

I look forward to meeting many of you at our events and hearing your ideas on how we can make this branch a vibrant, supportive hub for credit professionals in South Wales.
