With prior experience as a Certificated Enforcement Agent, Sam possesses a deep understanding of the challenges in debt recovery from both the perspective of a Credit Manager and an on-street Enforcement Team

I have recruited within this specialist marketplace for over fifteen years and therefore have an extensive network of credit professionals. I am also the current chairperson of the Sussex & Surrey (CICM) branch.

Martyn joined Esker in 2022 as a Credit Management Specialist. He brings a wealth of experience to this role, offering key advice to end-users on the application of Esker technologies to improve their order-to-cash processes.
Before joining Esker, Martyn was a popular facilitator and speaker at credit industry events and ran his own successful credit management and advisory service.
With over 30 years practical experience, Martyn is a respected authority in the credit industry. He has worked for large, multinational organisations as an operational credit manager and has successfully delivered ERP implementations, managed mergers and acquisitions and been a global process owner.
Residing in Hemel Hempstead, Martyn is a keen golfer in his spare time and a long-standing supporter of Tottenham Hotspur.
Mathew Tipper
Matt joined Esker in 2021 as Partner Manager and he recently re-joined the company in the role of Business Development Manager.
Matt has worked for software companies all his life after graduating. He has helped some of the most recognisable global brands with their finance transformation journey though adoption of best in technology.
Matt is an industry expert in Order to Cash solutions and helps Esker customers achieve world class results utilising the Esker platform.
Residing in West London, Matt enjoys playing golf, watching cricket, travelling to new places and sampling good cuisine
Paula Swain FCICM
Paula Swain, partner in Shakespeare Martineau’s debt and asset recovery team, specialises in dispute resolution, litigation, mediation and insolvency. With more than 24 years’ post-qualification experience, Paula regularly advises creditor companies on their finance and business disputes and is accustomed to handling disputes around guarantees and indemnities, complex asset recoveries, breach of warranty, and fraud claims.
Jayne Gardner MCICM
Jayne Gardner, partner and head of debt and asset recovery at Shakespeare Martineau, has more than 25 years’ experience in both debt collection and credit management. She specialises in all aspects of debt recovery and credit management, advising clients on collection of debts and internal credit procedures.
Fiona Pask
Fiona Pask, dispute resolution partner at Shakespeare Martineau, advises both public and private sector clients in relation to all forms of Scottish disputes. Fiona acts in complex and high-value litigations and has extensive experience of Court of Session practice and procedure. As well her court experience, Fiona regularly advises clients in relation to alternative dispute resolution, particularly mediation.
