Sussex and Surrey
Welcome to the Sussex & Surrey Branch, covering a vast geographical area encompassing towns such as Croydon, Guildford, Reigate, Hastings, and Chichester. With approximately 375 members, including a significant student presence, our branch serves commuters between London and our region.
Our meetings are thoughtfully curated, blending professional insights with diverse business and social topics. Conveniently located near major road and rail connections, our gatherings ensure accessibility for all. We warmly welcome members from neighbouring branches, and our meetings consistently boast strong attendance. These events offer valuable opportunities for networking, professional development, and contributing to our shared field.
While social events are self-funded, we provide refreshments at educational gatherings to accommodate members and guests arriving directly from work. Branch affiliation typically corresponds to one's home address, but changes can be made upon request to the Institute. We encourage you to attend our meetings and feel free to invite friends and colleagues as we aim to expand our membership.

I am delighted to be serving as chair for the Sussex & Surrey CICM branch. Working for Hays Credit Management (CICM corporate partners) I recruit purely for credit control and accounts receivable staff at all levels, I work on both temporary and permanent vacancies. The roles I recruit for range from fully qualified CICM Credit Managers, through to Credit Controllers, Sale Ledger Clerks and Accounts Receivable Administrators. I have been recruiting within the credit market for over fifteen years and have developed a real passion for the industry, and most importantly the people that work within it!
As a branch we are keen to hold informative and educational events, that provide members with the opportunity to upskill, stay relevant and network with other like-minded credit professionals. Working as a Credit Risk Manager in a large IT company, my aim is to use my knowledge and experience in the credit profession to collaborate with my fellow branch committee members to make sure we deliver on providing passion for the profession we work within and make sure our events are engaging, thought provoking and future proof.

I am pleased to be part of the CICM Surrey and Sussex branch committee for another year. I have worked in credit for several years, leading successful teams across Surrey and now Sussex.
I am MCICM Level 5 qualified in Credit Management, and I am keen to continue to interact with other credit professionals and to help plan events across the year.

An experienced Operations Director specialising in all aspects of collections and recoveries, currently responsible for service delivery, client relationship management and all in house operational processes for Towerhall Solutions.
Having over 30 years' experience within the financial services sector I strongly believe in blending the need for digital interaction, automation and the expert skills of case handlers.
My goal being to deliver bespoke end to end arrears journeys for our clients from late arrears/pre termination onwards focusing on re-engagement and recovery adopting the principles of Consumer Duty.
An avid Ipswich Town and San Francisco 49ers fan - who in my spare time likes to run slowly, follow slow racehorses and spend time with the 4 grandkids.
