Personal Learning Account
In collaboration with Cardiff and Vale College and their access to Personal Learning Account funding from the Welsh Government, Welsh based employees can now apply for fully funded CICM Credit & Collections Qualifications.
What is the Personal Learning Account?
A Personal Learning Account (PLA) is a programme funded by Welsh Government which allows those who meet the criteria to access FREE courses and professional qualifications that develop skills and help people to progress or change their career.
Eligibility to apply
If you’re aged 19 or over (on commencement of the training course), living in Wales and any of the below apply to you, then you could be eligible:
- Earning under the median income £30,596*
- Working on a zero-hour contract
- At risk of being made redundant
- Agency staff
- Full-time carers (paid or non-paid)
- Offenders on day release
All other eligibility criteria applies
Qualification Options with Cardiff and Vale College:
- Entry level Award/Certificate/Diploma in Credit and Collections
- Intermediate Diploma in Credit and Collections
- Advanced Diploma in Credit and Collections
