Paraglide becomes CICM corporate partner as credit prepares for agentic AI

Paraglide becomes CICM corporate partner

London, 19th August: Paraglide, an agentic AI platform for accounts receivable (AR), today announced it has become a corporate partner of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM), the UK's professional body for the credit industry. The partnership follows Paraglide's $5 million pre-seed round earlier this year, backed by Bessemer Venture Partners, DN Capital and Born Capital.

The partnership is a deliberate step by the Institute to strengthen members’ insights into how autonomous AI is already reshaping credit and collections work.

In collaboration with CICM, Paraglide will provide members with the intel to operate confidently alongside ever-maturing AI to adopt AI agents into their workstreams safely and effectively, whilst advancing their understanding of the importance of human oversight and decision-making going forwards.

Rasmus Areskoug, Co-founder and CEO of Paraglide, commented:

"As AI adoption picks up pace in the credit management industry, the role that humans play will evolve. Thanks to the instrumental work of CICM, the UK has a very strong credit culture in place today which must be upheld. We are honoured to be working together with CICM to navigate these shifts. The work is moving away from doing towards monitoring, managing and approving what agents produce. In this context, we must prioritise safe deployment, autonomy and effective collaboration that keeps credit professionals firmly in control.”

Sue Chapple, FCICM, Chief Executive of CICM, commented:

“We are pleased to welcome Paraglide as a corporate partner. Their focus on education, innovation and practical support will help our members better understand the opportunities and challenges surrounding AI in credit management, ensuring they remain informed and equipped as the profession continues to evolve.”

Paraglide was founded by Rasmus Areskoug and Andreas Åström, formerly the respective CFO and Head of Engineering of high-growth SaaS company, GetAccept. After having experienced the operational burden of accounts receivable firsthand, the founders built Paraglide's AI agents to provide practical solutions. Paraglide's AI agents automate the busywork of high-volume B2B AR manage inbound customer queries, resolve billing issues, and conduct collections outreach, engaging customers in natural, contextual conversation. On average, this delivers a 34% reduction in Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
