CICM Merseyside and North Wales Branch AGM

The CICM Branch Annual General Meeting (AGM) is an opportunity for branch members to review the year's branch events, elect new Branch Committee members and to allow discussion on future plans and direction of the branch and its activity.

This is the first AGM for the ‘new’ committee branch , key to discuss plans for 2025 and agree committee members for this year .

Agenda

Welcome and apologies received (Committee Chair, or VC in his/her absence)
Receive a Chairs report for the year since last AGM, not applicable at this stage for this branch first AGM
Receive last years Branch AGM minutes and discuss any matters arising/questions. Chair proposes Minutes, VC can Second, and if no objections they can be approved as agreed, as above
Receive Treasurer's report on branch finances and plans for how to use funds in the year ahead and time for questions, as above
Plans for activity for the year ahead and discuss plans for action. Can include, but not limited to, branch size and committee engagement, events, social media activity plans, challenges anticipated, measures of success, feedback route to HQ
Election of Branch Committee members for year ahead, including reference to any proxies received. To note that any paid up member can be part of the branch committee, but only those of MCICM and FCICM grade can vote to elect committee members. Chair carries out the process and Votes are registered and noted by a show of hands. Thanks to be given and noted for any members standing down.
Election of Office roles within the Committee – Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary/Treasurer. Newly elected Committee vote for the Officer roles
Receive any questions posed in advance of the meeting, or during
Any other business
