CICM Sussex & Surrey Branch AGM

We need a few more committed CICM members to join the Sussex & Surrey CICM branch on the committee. The qualification criteria are very simple. If you are a current CICM member, local to the Surrey or Sussex areas and are passionate about the credit industry then we’d love to hear from you.

There are so many reasons to join your local CICM committee:

· Promoting the Profession: You play a direct role in advocating for the CICM and raising the profile of credit management

· Support Local Members: You help organise topical events, CPD, and networking opportunities, as a committee member you get to influence the type of events that we run, your ideas and contributions are really important

· Personal Satisfaction: You will be making a meaningful, voluntary contribution to your professional body and supporting the next generation of credit managers.

· Expand Your Network: You'll work closely with a diverse group of experienced credit professionals on the committee, building a strong local network. You will also get to meet new contacts at branch events and through your increased network.

· Increased Visibility: As a committee member, you're an ambassador for the CICM, leading local events and activities. This increases your visibility among members, local businesses, and potential employers

· At the Sussex & Surrey branch, we are a really nice bunch of people we have a lot of laughs and hold some really good events

Joining the committee is a yearlong commitment, however we understand that everyone is juggling busy calendars, trying to achieve some sort of work life balance, and that time is precious. As a committee we meet every 4 weeks (virtually, often over lunch...) to discuss future events and branch business. We also try to attend as many events as we can in person / or virtually. We are not demanding hours of anyone’s time!
